3. Furniture Donation Terms & Inspection Policy

When you offer furniture items for donation through our website or volunteer pickup service:

• Voluntary Contribution: All furniture donations are voluntary, unconditional gifts to support our community mission.
• Condition & Inspection Right: We prioritize safe, clean, and dignified items. Our volunteer delivery crews reserve the explicit right to inspect items in person and decline any furniture that fails to meet sanitation standards, exhibits bedbugs, pet damage, severe stains, or structural breakage.
• Home Access & Safety: Donors agree to provide a clear, safe pathway (hallways, stairwells, driveways) for volunteer movers and secure all household pets during pickup windows.

4. Furniture Assistance & Caseworker Referral Terms

Our furniture distribution is structured to serve individuals and families transitioning out of crisis or temporary housing:

• Referral Verification: Direct furniture assistance is coordinated through authorized caseworker referrals from verified regional shelter networks.
• "As-Is" Distribution: All pre-owned furniture is provided free of charge to recipient households on an "as-is, where-is" basis, without commercial warranties of any kind.
• Inventory Availability: Fulfillment of specific item requests (e.g., mattress sizes, table dimensions) is subject to available warehouse holding inventory.
